If the McCan't campaign (again, landing the first blow) is to be believed, that is. Their latest ad, entitled "Education," cites several articles in WaPo and Education Weekly that slam Obama for having nothing to offer on education.
All bullshit, of course. Those same articles cited by McCan't actually rip McCan't even more, with the NY Times' David Brooks writing that McCan't "hasn't shown up for duty" on education.
Worst of all, however, the ad states that Obama's only accomplishment was a "comprehensive sex education program... for Kindergarteners." Makes Obama sound like someone who gets off on teaching toddlers about sex. However, in reality the program was a laudable one that taught young kids how to deal with sexual predators.
With these lies, the McCan't campaign is daring Obama to punch back. And if Obama doesn't stand up and call out these lies, these schoolyard bully tactics will work.
McCan't wrapped up his nomination speech with a rant about fighting. He's so far living up to his words. Obama talked about a different kind of politics. Guess what? Different that doesn't kick the shit out of McCan't is worthless.
Obama, kick his saggy old ass back to Phoenix!
