Torture Does Not Work

Case in point: that Jordanian doctor who blew himself and seven CIA agents up, who was recruited by Jordanian intelligence, working with the CIA, to infiltrate Al Qaeda and find their No. 2 guy, was jailed by Jordanian intelligence to coerce him into working for their side.

If this doesn't show how torture (and you just know that the Jordanians beat the shit out of him in that jail, don't you?) results in nothing actually valuable, I don't know what does.

This guy, who was an AQ sympathizer "from the start" and was also from the same hometown as Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (leader of AQ in Iraq) was probably further radicalized in the process and just told the intelligence officers what they wanted to hear so he could get out of that jail.

This was a failure on so many levels I can't begin to list them. "Intelligence?" my ass.
