Delusional!

Beliefnet's Rod Dreher notes an advantage to voting for McCan't:

A real Sam's Club Republican -- a dynamic and articulate young woman -- is in position to take over the GOP when McCain passes from the scene. As Ross [Douthat] has put it somewhere, Sarah Palin is the kind of Republican young conservatives should want to rise in the party.

Uh, yeah right.

Sam's Club Republican? Does he mean that place where one has to pay a membership fee to buy goods that look terrible, fall apart quickly, but are great so long as they're cheap? That place which wouldn't exist if it weren't for China? That place created by Sam Walton, one of the richest men in America during his time, as well as the largest and most anti-union employer in U.S. history?

By the way, if you want a hoot, read the comments section of Dreher's piece. Runs the gamut from right-wing whack jobs who use 15 exclamation points when they get excited (PALIN YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) to liberal hack jobs (like me) who use 15 words when they can use just three.
