Ben Stein on CNN

I think Ben Stein's a blowhard and a schmuck, but he's no dummy. In an interview with CNN's Soledad O'Brien on Palin's speech last night, Stein called her pick the "most peculiar vice-presidential choice there has ever been." Most telling was his observation that her preparation in the next few weeks would have to be similar to that shot of Superman, as a baby after his planet was destroyed, hurtling through space in that ship, while recordings of all that he needed to know were being spoon-fed to him. Choice quote from Stein: "She needs Henry Kissinger to baby-sit her."
